I sit here having just finished reading about your Father and his last day and I am overwhelmed with the feeling of loss and sorrow...for you...for me. Knowing how it feels to lose your Father, your protector, your rock it all comes flooding back, wave after wave. I used to suppress those feelings, thinking it was weak to show them, but it is right to release those feelings. I can tell you that there is an endless supply of those feelings of love for your Father, even after many, many years. You are right, you are never really prepared when a loved ones time comes. I hope you dream of your Father many more times, many more happy times.

absolutely beautiful. exquisite, and it made me cry like a baby.

my Mom & Dad are still in good health, 86 & 85, respectively, but i know the "days are coming", all too soon.

i'm almost 60, and most of my friends' parents are long gone. i and my sister have been blessed with having our parent for all these years, still in good health.

God Bless your Dad, Mom and You, dear lady.
